THE MOST SINCERE FORM OF FLATTERY...

By now, many of you may have already seen the poster for the upcoming Man of Steel movie (left) starring Henry Cavill as Superman and directed by Zach Snyder which debuted at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con. Does it look familiar to you? As a collector of the art of Alex Ross, it should because it's based on the Kingdom Come image that appears on the first hardcover compilation of the award-winning series (right).
They say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. So, they couldn't go wrong in using an Alex Ross design as their debut poster.
