LIMITED EDITION POSTERS

Lee's Comics, a California-based comic shop released these fantastic "mug-shot" posters of Shazam, Wonder Woman and Aquaman in 2000, 2001 and 2003 respectively. The occasion was that Alex Ross visited their stores and did signings and interviews and such (he has done so 5 times). These 3 posters were only available at their stores in Northern California and, of course, at their Ebay store. The unsigned versions are sold for US$20 each and the signed ones for double that price. What are you waiting for? GET YOURS NOW, ONLY AT LEE'S COMICS.
These 2 posters were available at the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con along with the limited edition Flash Gordon action figure that we've talked about before. These kinda flew under everybody's radar, what with all the excitement of the figure and the sketchbook. These incredible prints are a little difficult to find, I specially like the one on the left 'cause Flash Gordon looks Conan-esque and the image is more striking and in-your-face than the one on the right. Expect to pay around US$40 for each one when you find them on Ebay.
Finally, also at the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con, this lithograph was being sold. The iconic image of "Super-Obama" (the worlds first geek president) was made famous all over the world on t-shirts and buttons. You've got to admit that Alex excelled at the likeness on this piece, the resemblance to the current US president is uncanny. This print was originally sold for about US$50 but it became so popular that is currently being sold on Ebay for more than a hundred dollars. There was even a re-issue of this poster with the title "Inauguration Day" and the date of this event printed on it.
Only the 3 "mug shots" posters are IN MY COLLECTION.
